WISE Women’s work
Sama has run women's circles and events independently and as part of Sacred Sisters Sharing Circle since 2015. She has created dozens of child-inclusive safe spaces for women to connect and honour sacred women's business.
Sama's community offerings include:
- Pregnancy blessing ways
- Baby naming
- Girls's coming of age rites
- Women's circles and retreats
- Crossing over- funeral services
Sama deeply honours the sacredness in each of these transitional life cycles and brings a sense of reverence and respect to the sacred space she holds in her ceremonial work.
Sama is currently training to become a Registered Marriage Celebrant, to include wedding ceremonies into her community offerings.
In 2021 Sama will host the Moon Maidens girls Menarche circle in the Byron Hinterlands.
In 2019 Sama ran the Nurture in Nature Women’s retreat in The Byron Bay Hinterlands.
In 2018 Sama ran a workshop at the Wise Women's Gathering in Wiseman's Ferry NSW.
